Job Description: Morson Projects is seeking a motivated Graduate Design Engineer to join our team in our Aerospace sector based in Hull. As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting our Engineers on various projects within our Engineering, Design, and Stress teams. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a degree and relevant work experience, aiming to embark on a rewarding career with an innovative organisation. This role would be well suited to those already in graduate roles, as well as those due to graduate later this year.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the design solutions of new products and modifications across a variety of industries.
* Provide and collaborate on transforming design solutions on multi-discipline projects from initial concept stages through to manufacture.
* Collaborate and liaise closely with both senior members of the design, structures and manufacturing teams.
* Develop a working solution from design concept through the understanding of materials manufacturing, assembly and cost.
* Utilisation of a range of computer aided design packages to produce engineering solutions.
* Achieve project release targets through self-time management and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Proficiency in working with CAD packages.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Industry placement or work experience would be beneficial.
* Due to project nature, only sole UK nationals are eligible, and the ability to undergo UK SC level security vetting is mandatory.
