Job Description

A great opportunity is available for an Architectural Technician to work on an array of specialist residential projects, with a strong focus on meeting Building Regulatory specifications. You may be a post graduate, have gained some experience or an Architectural Technician who is looking to for your next career step as this role provides a great opportunity to develop within an established company . The Architectural Technicians form an integral part of the CAD Drawing team for a leading home development company in North Norwich  You will have the full support of a senior team of industry specialists and will include:

Dealing directly with surveyors, installation managers, external structural engineers and independent building control companies
Providing technical drawings on a variety of extensions and conservatory projects
AutoCAD and Sketch Up skills are required
Knowledge of Revit would be a distinct advantage
Produce product and build specifications and feasibility studies

Ideally you will have a relevant building qualification and working knowledge of using AutoCAD - Most importantly you will need sound knowledge of building regulations and construction methods with building materials knowledge. We  have an expert team on board so we can support a recent graduate or similar.  Strong team player skills and great communication skills will be required for this role.
