Job Description

We are delighted to represent a prestigious, multinational electromechanical manufacturing and engineering organisation in their appointment of a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Leader (QHSE)

Working as part of the Site Leadership Team, taking all local and group strategies around QHSE and implementing on site, the QHSE Leader will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the business quality, environmental and safety management systems, including further integration and development.

Working closely with all internal stakeholders to drive ISO related improvements, facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions concerning any customer or supplier quality, or internal safety concern that may arise.

Key skills

* Educated to degree level

* Experience in a senior quality, safety or QSHE role in a quality critical manufacturing setting – with a preference for electronic or electromechanical assembly environments

* Strong working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001

* Qualified Lead Auditor

* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent

* FMEA, RCA problem solving tools – 8D, 5Y, Pareto, Ishikawa, Fishbone etc.

* Lean Manufacturing toolkit

* Experience in subcontractor management, risk assessment, issuing permits to work

* A background in quality and with some safety/environmental management is required due to the broad scope of the role
