Senior Network Engineer

TEKsystems Global Pharmaceutical client are looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to assist across multiple global WAN initiatives and provide L3 support for their global network which spans 130+ countries and 240+ sites. The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for assisting with design, engineering and troubleshooting activities across the clients WAN.

The Sr. Network Engineer will assist on projects related to: SD-WAN Deployment, Colo Facility Performance for cloud connectivity and a Macro Segmentation project. The clients environment consists of mainly Cisco R&S, Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Viptela for SD-WAN. Candidates should have extensive route / switch experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise WAN environments. Experience with Firewall (Palo Alto or Checkpoint) and SD-WAN.

Enterprise design and configuration within routing & switching in a global environment (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol)
SD-WAN Design and deployment experience
Automation (Ansible) and scripting (python) experience
L3 Network troubleshooting
