Tax Manager required. Due to continued growth, my client is seeking for a Tax Manager to join their team. My client is one of the few remaining independent chartered accountancy practices, of a certain size, in the Leeds area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic client base to build lasting relationships, where you will offer a full and diverse range of services whilst maintaining exceptional levels of client service.

Tax Manager Position Overview

Provide tax planning and compliance advice to our clients - employment tax matters/other corporate tax issues
Act as the point of contact to clients for tax-related queries
Identify tax planning opportunities for clients and provide advice on tax implications
Review and oversee the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns and computations - ensuring everything is accurate and compliant with legislation
Assist with the tax audits and investigations, liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
Assist with the training/development of junior staff
Keep up to date with tax legislation
Participate in business development opportunities, pursuing opportunities to grow our client base

My client is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors - who are currently a team of 50+ staff members, providing a full range of accounting, audit and tax services to an diverse client base dominated by owner managed and family businesses, predominantly across the Yorkshire region.

Tax Manager Position Requirements

ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent to
Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
Strong knowledge of tax compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail

Tax Manager Position Remuneration

£50,000+ basic salary
