Field Service Engineer in Bristol - CV-Library

Field service engineer required for a manufacturer and supplier of compressed air systems and pneumatics based in central Bristol – BS1.

Permanent, full time role
£30,000 - £42,000 per annum DOE, plus call out rate 
40 working hours per week – paid door to door
Overtime paid after 40hrs
23 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays
About the role

Travelling primarily within the South West but sometimes to other parts of the country
Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment
Undertake planned and preventative maintenance on compressors and a range of ancillary equipment and compressed air systems
Perform emergency breakdown faultfinding and repair
Install and commission compressors and compressed air systems, aluminium and steel pipework
Complete necessary paperwork, such as risk assessments, method statements, service reports, timesheets or job sheets
The right candidate

Full UK manual driving licence
Willing to undertake occasional overnight stays when traveling for work, as required
Excellent communication / customer service skills
IT literate
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
Previous experience in a field-based service role
Previous experience of working with compressed air equipment
