Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor based in Dublin.

They're seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the financial management and cost control of their projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

* Conducting cost analysis, preparing estimates, and managing project budgets.

* Procuring materials and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

* Monitoring project progress, identifying variations, and preparing valuation reports.

* Providing expert advice on contractual matters and resolving disputes.

* Collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and client requirements.

* Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the quantity surveying department.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering industry

* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and procurement processes.

* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
