Elevate your career in plant management with a pivotal role in the bustling heart of Birmingham. A reputable organisation seeks a diligent Plant Manager to oversee the mechanical and maintenance operations of their expansive yard.

Role Essentials:

* Direct and manage all mechanical and maintenance activities within the plant

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations)

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations)

* Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reliability of plant machinery

* Lead a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and hands-on problem-solving

Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role within an industrial or plant setting

* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their maintenance requirements

* Demonstrable knowledge of PUWER and LOLER regulations and their application in a plant environment

* Exceptional leadership skills with a hands-on approach to management

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues effectively

* Excellent communication and organisational skills
