Data Collection Operative in Lincoln - CV-Library

WasteRecruit are pleased to be supporting our client in recruiting a number of operatives for a 3-6month project gathering data within the environmental sector. We have 3 vacancies for graduates or those wishing to work on a short term project within the industry based in the Lincoln and Cambridge/Northamptonshire areas.

The scope of the work would be to supervise and collect data from tankers discharging sewage loads at the nominated sites. This would include:

* Checking tanker driver paperwork/ data on a tablet

* Watching tanker driver obtain waste sample into a bucket

* Checking bucket contents match expected parameters for sewage (visual & odour)

* If not in spec or suspicious taking a sample for further analysis

* Take suspect sample to Alpheus site for COD test

The operatives will be supplied with:

* Full PPE

* Tablet / Mobile device

* Gas alarm / single manning device

Working hours are expected to be 7.5 hrs day Monday to Friday, there may be flexibility in start & finish times provided during core hours of 07.30 – 18.00 hrs.
