Safeguarding Officer Needed in Portsmouth! 🔒
Are you passionate about protecting the well-being of others? We're seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer to join our team in Portsmouth on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year.
👩‍🎓 As a Safeguarding Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and welfare of our students and staff. You'll work closely with students, families, and external agencies to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone in our community.
🛡️ Responsibilities:

Implementing safeguarding policies and procedures
Providing guidance and support to staff and students on safeguarding issues
Conducting risk assessments and managing safeguarding concerns
Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders
Delivering training sessions on safeguarding best practices✅ Requirements:

Previous experience in a safeguarding role (preferably within an educational setting)
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion
