Skilled Production Operative in Witham - CV-Library

We are currently working with a prestigious Witham based independent family company who are now recruiting for a Skilled Production Operator to support their busy production operation.
The company continues to experience rapid growth and there are great opportunities for a Skilled Production Operator to join a highly successful business.

This role is permanent for the successful candidate.

Duties:

Operate and change over different types of filling & labelling equipment safely and efficiently
Accountable for running a variety of filling machines or creating liquids and blends
Work safely and considerately following working systems of the department
Deliver high quality products through ensuring production and product labelling meet quality requirements
Following all relevant procedures and reporting any issues of products
This is an operational role which will involve some physical activity and close liaison with a large team of directly employed and temporary staff
Meet the company standards and support other staff members
Completion of any relevant documentationExperience required:

Experience with working in a manufacturing environment and operating production equipment
You will have experience of working in a safety culture and to high standards of quality in a controlled environment
Team player with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade A-C including maths or equivalent.
Ability to complete induction training for new staff and maintain standards
Experience risk assessments
Experience of stock control
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with good numerical skillsBenefits:
