Job Opportunity: Level 3 Sports Coach

Do you have a level 3 qualification in Sports (or equivalent)?

Our partnered school is looking for a dynamic and passionate sports coach to foster a love of sports and enhance the physical well-being and development of students in their school.

Position: Sports Coach
Location: Birmingham
Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM
Salary: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

As a sports coach, you will be working with students to promote physical well–being and a love of sports.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Skill Development: Providing targeted coaching to enhance the skills and abilities of students, fostering a sense of achievement and self-confidence.

2. Inclusive Coaching: Adapting coaching methods to accommodate students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring that sports activities are accessible to all.

3. Collaboration: Working collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external partners to integrate sports activities and support the student’s development in line with EHP’s

4. Event Coordination: Support and lead organisation of sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities, creating opportunities for students to showcase their talents.

5. Sports Program Development: Deliver engaging sports and P.E sessions that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

* A level 3 qualification in a sports-related subject

* Previous experience with teaching or leading sports sessions

* Experience working with an educational setting would be advantageous
