We are seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to join their dynamic team and help them continue to set the standard for excellence in childcare.

Job Description:

As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for the children in our care. You will play a key role in leading the team, upholding our high childcare standards, and supporting ongoing professional development for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff management, administration, and financial tasks.
Ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained for all children.
Provide leadership and guidance to the nursery team, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, providing support and feedback to staff as needed.
Maintain excellent communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and nursery events.
Work with the Nursery Manager to implement policies and procedures in line with regulations and company standards.
Support ongoing professional development for staff through training and coaching.

Requirements:

A degree in Early Childhood Studies, Childcare, or a related field.
Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong knowledge of early years pedagogy and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
Passion for working with children and commitment to their development and well-being.
