Your primary goal will be to ensure friendly and efficient service in the Hotel’s bustling restaurant and bar. You'll play a pivotal role in setting up for service and ensuring both guests and team members receive an outstanding, friendly service at all times.

This role is perfect if you are eager to progress with the company and offers the chance to advance into management.

Working hours

Working hours offer flexibility, with the possibility of a 4-day week, requiring a minimum commitment of 32 to 39 hours per week. Some shifts will be early, starting at 7am and some will start late until 3am (these shifts only occur at the weekend).

Ideally, the employer aims to hire two individuals from this advertisement, with one covering early shifts and the other handling evening shifts - 1 daytime and 1 evening.

What will your role look like?

Prepare and serve food and beverages to the highest standards
Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen and reception
Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Uphold uniform and personal hygiene standards
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the restaurant
Report any maintenance issues promptly
Manage inventory levels and implement control procedures
Handle guest complaints and queries with attentiveness and courtesy
Promote in-house sales and maximise revenue
Greet and seat customers warmly
Maintain a visible presence in the dining area
Take orders promptly and accurately
Ensure restaurant readiness before service
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
Ensure tables are clean and stocked
Ensure food quality meets agreed standards
Adhere to company regulations regarding fire, health and safety, hygiene, customer care, and security
Process guest bills accurately and express gratitude for their patronage
Foster interdepartmental cooperation and communication
Assist in promoting the hotel and restaurant through social channels
Adhere to health and safety guidelines outlined in the staff handbook
