New Business Executive in London - Dawsongroup plc

Dawsongroup emc is a part of the Dawsongroup PLC, is the UKs leading supplier of self-drive Municipal, industrial and specialist vehicles for contract hire. Due to continued growth, we are now seek aNew Business Executive to join a vibrant team, covering the south of the country.
Position Overview:
The goal of the New Business Executive will be to identify and secure both long and short-term rentals of our municipal and warehouse cleaning product range as well as maximise the greatest possible return.
The New Business Executive will be responsible for:
Making appointments to visit key potential renters, particularly within the municipal sector.
Keeping accurate sales records of follow up visits and current business situation
Establishing regular contact with decision makers, within the city, county and borough councils to optimise every opportunity to win their business through tenders, site surveys and direct sales
Maintaining a high level of municipal and warehouse cleaning equipment utilisation in the area
Visiting recognised suppliers, manufacturers and service agents to encourage more rentals from them, liaising on possible joint enquiries
Ensuring that specific sales targets are achieved within time limits to contribute to the overall sales achievement
Maintaining an awareness of trade and field situations and ensure appropriate action to meet changing circumstances
The successful New Business Executive will:
Hold previous experience in similar position and ideally come from a construction or plant background
Act on your own initiative in researching information on potential customers and constantly be aware of opportunities to sell second-hand equipment and negotiate prices accordingly
