Workshop Technician in Folly Gate - CV-Library

Workshop Technician required, salary £28,000 per annum. Full Time, Permanent based in Okehampton, Devon.  This will be working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm.

Due to growth, Wise Employment are seeking an experienced Workshop Technician for one of our clients who is expanding due to exciting growth.  This role will see you join the workshop build team responsible for the new build and maintenance of products as well as assisting with R&D.

In order to be successful in this role of Workshop Technician, you will need to have excellent 3D visualisation and good practical hand skills along with attention to detail and precision. You will be a creative thinker and enjoy problem solving and solution finding.  You will need to have a UK driving licence with preferably trailer towing along with experience of composite materials and manufacturing as beneficial.  It would also be advantageous if you have CAD drawing or interpretation skills and experience within the marine industry or similar.

Experience of working within a workshop would be advantageous and able to work on your own initiative is important and also within a close team environment.

You will possess good IT skills with knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and be able to self-prioritise workloads and schedule tasks effectively.
