Job Overview:

They are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimise their manufacturing operations in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a background in the FMCG industry, preferably with experience in drinks or ingredients production. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Production Management: Supervise and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety regulations.

* Resource Planning: Develop and implement production schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation to optimise efficiency and minimise downtime.

* Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

* Cost Control: Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or safety.

* Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and implement inventory control measures to minimise wastage and ensure adequate supply.

* Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Salary £65,000 /£70,000

Working hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
