Project Manager – Voice and Data – hybrid

UCaaS, SDWAN, MPLS, Cisco, QoS, Hosted Telephony, Security, Juniper

Job Accountabilities:
To be accountable for the delivery of enterprise customer projects from sales handover through to sign-off at completion including:
• Demonstrating best practice Project Management Processes and Practice, such as PMP or Prince2
• Defining the project baseline, and demonstrating a full understanding of contractual obligations.
• You will have the ability to organise, plan, manage and control all owned projects from order acceptance through to final sign off on completion, adhering to our Project Management Methodology.
• Ensuring all key documents as appropriate are produced and authorised by the appropriate parties.
• Delivery of the required solution within the specified constraints of time and cost, meeting commercial milestones.
• Experienced in delivering projects in some or all of the following areas: UCaaS, SDWAN, MPLS, Cisco, QoS, Hosted Telephony, Security, Juniper
Skills and Aptitudes
As a Project Manager you will own the delivery of a monthly target for Professional Services revenue and will have delivered networking/telecoms projects for external customers.

You will show strength in the following three key areas:
Financials
• Delivery of project scope within cost budget, maximise project profitability and provide change controls during the project
• Understand the importance of accurate forecasting and tracking of project revenue in Focal Point system on a monthly basis
• Engage with financial team to ensure project billing is completed in a timely manner
Team
• Manage and provide guidance to technical delivery resources, Project Coordinators, Junior PMs and 3rd parties.
• Mentor and develop other members of the project management community through evaluation, project reviews and training.
• Motivate all team members assigned to the project to ensure high quality deliverables are produced.
• Assess the health of a project or lead a small team in doing so to ensure key points are clearly identified and shared with the relevant shareholders.
• An ability to take control of problematic projects to bring them back into a position of success.
Customers
• Driving a high level of customer satisfaction from excellent project delivery
• Ensure we provide first class communication in line with agreed communication plans, including updates and meeting minutes to all project stakeholders
• Ensure that the correct level of project control and governance is applied to all projects in accordance with size and complexity of scope.
• Be the first point of engagement for and contain any customer escalations, summarising and presenting to senior management as necessary
• Complete Lessons Learned process upon project completion to drive process improvement
