Job Description

Sales Order Processor / Warehouse Operative

Job Type: Permanent Part time (9:30-3:30pm Monday - Friday but can make full time if needed)
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Hours: 6 hours per day, 30 hours per week (can increase to full time hours)
Location: Office based, Newcastle-under-Lyme

The Company:
Our small but successful client markets specialist scientific treatments and therapies to a variety of medical companies across the county, including NHS and private practices. They work within the Rheumatology and Ophthalmology sector, and their treatments have been used on some well-known sports players!

The company are looking for someone to assist with sales order processing and warehouse duties, so are looking for a person that is extremely organised, with good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job too. A team player who is truly committed to customer service with excellent attention to detail would suit this role.

The Role:

Receiving and processing orders, sorting, picking and packing and despatching medical devices to their customers according to a schedule, making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
Processing sales orders electronically via Xero, analysing the order and applying any special rates, terms and conditions
Assisting with customer queries via phone and email and liaising with suppliers
Preparation and despatching of sales support items
Preparing exhibition equipment and materials for collection and delivery
Checking, labelling and putting away supplier deliveries and keeping on top of stock shortages
Post office and courier despatch duties
Job Requirements:

Previous experience of order processing / warehouse duties is a must
Must have a GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Full UK driving license and own car is essential
An understanding of safety requirements within a warehouse environment
An 'all rounder' in terms of skills and abilities, with excellent communication skills and phone manner
Previous customer service experience
