Head of Science Job Requirements:
Excellent academic credentials including QTS and at least a 2:1 degree within a Science subject area
Demonstrate successful teaching of GCSE at good or better level
Be an exceptional practitioner who has a passion for Sciences and a proven track record of raising student achievement
Be an outstanding teacher, able to teach at least one of the Science subject areas effectively to A-Level
Have the drive and ability to raise the profile of Science within and outside school
Lead the department effectively to further sustained success
Be ambitious for themselves, the department and the wider school
