Multi Skilled Engineer
Permanent - £50,000 - £55,000
Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
Docklands
Our client is looking to add a Multi Skilled Engineer to their ranks on their commercial site in Docklands. The ideal candidate will have had experience working on District Energy Systems able to demonstrate basic understanding of Heating and Cooling building services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying and diagnosing faults while conducting necessary repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as needed.
Performing routine servicing, repairs, or adjustments on machinery or equipment within the scope of engineering expertise.
Addressing issues related to heating and cooling systems, including meters, in both commercial and residential properties.
Demonstrating flexibility by applying additional skills or trades as required to optimise task completion cost-effectively.
Executing other skilled tasks where proficiency has been established.
Monitoring designated plant operations and documenting data using the provided platform.
Requirements:
Full-time apprenticeship opportunity specialising in electrical or mechanical Building Services HVAC discipline, accompanied by City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 certification or actively pursuing certification.
Experience with District Energy systems and a foundational understanding of Heating and Cooling building services.
Relevant experience will be considered if qualifications do not meet the specified requirements.
Willingness and capability to undergo training to attain equivalent qualifications.
Proficiency in computer usage, including familiarity with Building Management Systems and other pertinent computerised platforms.
Capacity to interpret and convey technical data effectively in a coherent manner to others.
