Machinist in Redditch - CV-Library

The company are a manufacturer who supply automated and special purpose machinery to several sectors such as automotive, aerospace, oil & gas, food etc. They are seeking to recruit a Manual Machinist for their operations.

You will part of a friendly team, reporting to the works manager and be responsible for the following;

* Operation machining equipment

* Operation of lathes, milling machinery and grinding machinery

* Carry out minor adjustments and minor maintenance on machinery and equipment

* Read technical drawings to ensure correct spec on machined parts and components

* Use of measuring equipment tools

* Occasionally driving company vehicle to deliver materials or products to suppliers or clients

As a Manual Machinist you will need to hold the following skills and experience.

* Proficient in the operation of manual machining equipment such as lathes, milling machinery and grinders

* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings

* Able to use measuring equipment tools such as gauges, verniers etc

* Hold a valid driving license

The client is based in Redditch so is easily commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Droitwich, Alcester, Dudley
