Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stores Manager to join our clients existing team.

Duties include:-

Taking goods in - checking stock and quantities against purchase orders
Checking the quality of the products delivered
Managing a team of staff, ensuring H & S and deadlines are met
Liaising with any suppliers and couriers regarding any potential issues
Entering goods received on the company CRM system
Ensuring that minimum stock levels are maintained at all times
Moving stock between the main and the service stores, tracking at all times
Assisting with the implementation of a new bar coding system
Completion of stock takes in the main and the service stores
Liaising with manufacturing to ensure correct stock levels are maintained to continue with productionCandidates need to have strong communication skills, being able to deal with own team, internal departments and external contacts. Candidates should have experience of dealing with overseas shipping and customs documentation. Ideally candidates will hold a counterbalance FLT licence and have previous experience of working with a barcoding system
