Final Inspector in Redditch - CV-Library

Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Final Inspector to join their team. As a Finla Inspector you would be responsible for inspection and measurement of components using gauging equipment

Hours of work will be Rotating earlies and afternoons, rotating weekly (6am to 2pm Monday to Friday) and then 2pm to 12am (Monday to Thursday)

Salary £26,000 to £28,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package.

Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include:

* Checking and administering route cards and ensuring quality documentation is correct and up to date

* Measure components using various gauging machinery, hand tools and measuring equipment

* Understanding different methods metal removal and the most appropriate practise for different materials and components

* Occasional use of a linishing machine and a grinding machine

To be successful in the role of Dimensional Inspector you will hold the following skills and experience;

* Experience in working in a manufacturing / production environment

* Any previous experience of inspection or quality control would prove advantageous

* Good communicator and a "can do" attitude

* Good level of numeracy and literacy

* An attention to detail and able to work meticulously

This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
