An exciting opportunity to join the team at Thrive as a Software developer!
Thrive-AI provides an end- to end solution that is used to help clients operate their buildings efficiently, reduce energy consumption, save money, eliminate redundancy in design and optimise the lifespan of critical assets.
At Thrive, we design, procure, install and commission intelligent building systems, we develop software and provide software services to capture high volumes of building data in real time and we use this to deliver the actionable insight and control for the clients.
The role:
As a software developer at Thrive you will join the software team in the testing and development of
Thrive-AI Edge Application, Thrive-AI Web Application, Thrive-AI Cloud software backend, Thrive-AI API and provide general support and testing of the Thrive-AI platform.
The responsibilities of a software developer at Thrive:
* Implement high-quality software, from designs and architectures
* Employ automation to appropriate tasks to improve development efficiency
* Write, review and debug code when needed
* Curate automated validation and verification testing processes and procedures
* Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to improve products
* Keeping abreast of latest technology to ensure our software is always up-to-date
Key skills
* Proven experience as a Software Engineer
* Knowledge of software development methodologies and tooling
* Knowledge of selected programming languages. Primarily Typescript and Python, but also Java
* Web frameworks such as Angular and Flask,
* Experienced with containerisation technology and platforms; Docker and Kubernetes
* Awareness of NoSQL databases ; MongoDB and Redis
* Experience with automation of CI/CD pipelines. Awareness of Github Actions and FluxCD
* BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
