Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Stroud

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 am - 04:00 pm, Friday early finish 07:30 am - 03:00 pm

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 DOE

Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role within our client's Manufacturing Team, translating customer requirements into clear instructions and providing guidance to ensure impeccable customer satisfaction. This role involves interpreting customer needs, creating manufacturing layouts, and facilitating necessary processes to meet those requirements. The Manufacturing Engineer is also expected to collaborate with various departments, supporting them as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Timely creation of Layout (Route) Cards, meticulously aligning with customer specifications.
Assisting Commercial and business development teams in understanding customer demand and estimating costs.
Identifying non-standard tooling and fixtures, supporting procurement processes.
Overseeing the NPI process for new products, ensuring all requirements are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
Managing and delivering specific assigned projects and objectives.
Fostering a safety-first culture in all operations.Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

Minimum 4 years of direct experience in a technical role within an Engineering environment, preferably with Turning and Milling capabilities.
Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
Competence in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication skills.Desirable:

Experience in an Aerospace AS9100-approved facility.
