Assembly OPERATIVE

We offer competitive pay rates, which may vary depending on the lane and role. The rate is £11.68 before 12 weeks, £12.22 after 12 weeks, and £13.00 once competency is achieved. If you accept a shifted role, you will receive a shift premium on top of the above rates. The AM shift offers 7 hours at the basic rate and the PM shift offers 9 hours at the basic rate.

As an employee, you will be responsible for processing orders accurately and promptly, developing appropriate product and systems knowledge, identifying and reporting on health, safety, and environmental issues, fitting electrical components and electrical wiring, presenting, building, and assembling power distribution units, and using hand tools and pneumatic tools. You will also carry out other duties as determined by the line manager.

If you are self-motivated, quality-focused, and have previous experience working within a production/manufacturing environment, good personal organizational skills, good manual dexterity skills, and a good eye for detail, then we want you to join our team!

We have two rotational shift patterns available: early and late. The early shift starts at 6:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, and at 6:00 am to 1:30 pm on Friday. The late shift starts at 2:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, and at 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday.
