£12 per hour

Monday to Saturday, 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm (work 5 of the 6 days per week)

Join our dynamic Bedford based client, a leading provider in online retail, who pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and quality products to their customers.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join their warehouse team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for a permanent position based on performance after approximately 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

Efficiently manage and maintain accurate inventory records of all products within the warehouse.
Perform regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder requests to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and regulations.
Utilise inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
