We are looking to procure an experienced "Operations Manager" from a manufacturing background to join a Devon based company with hugely exciting growth plans. 

They specialise in the Design, Manufacture and Installation of bespoke Leisure Facilities across the UK, America and Canada. Their projects range from £50k - £2m in value and their pipeline of work has exploded over the last 18 months, causing rapid expansion of the team and their service offering.

The role

They are looking to hire an experienced "Operations Manager" with a manufacturing background to support the CEO managing the day to day running of the business. Taking control from point of sale, you will oversee the key heads of each department - Engineering Design, Production, Manufacture, Warehouse and Logistics and Project Delivery, providing structure and process to the business while reporting back to the board. Key duties include: 
Regular reporting to the CEO and the board
Planning of processes and projects 
Hiring and team development 
Point of escalation for Key Customers
Implementation and Control of Department Budgets
Analysis of efficiencies continuous improvement   The successful "Operations Manager" will initially work closely with senior leadership team to assess their current set-up and help implement new processes, procedures, IT systems and policies.  The role has an exciting career path with the right candidate having the opportunity progress to board level.

We are looking to attract candidates with a depth of experience within the manufacturing sector and the ability and gravitas to bring change and development to a business at their next stage of growth.

Key background and experience to include: 
Manufacturing background at Operations Manager / General Manager or MD level
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of manufacturing / project management software
Experience or ability to analyse/audit a business/department and implement change
Excellent management skills
