We have an incredible opportunity to join Residential Childrens Service with homes across the West Midlands, who cater to children aged 3 – 18 years with a range of physical and health needs, and learning disabilities as an Operations Manager.

Role:

The main purpose of the role will be to provide strong leadership to the management team, and support all homes in ensuring the highest quality of care and service is delivered, maintaining Ofsted rating of Good or Above. As Operations Manager, you will be joining an exceptionally talented management team, reporting directly to the Service Director, providing line management support to 7 Home Managers.

This is a full time, permanent position based at the Head Office in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire with regular travel across the West Midlands and possible overnight stays.

Requirements:

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar Senior Management role, however, exceptional Home Managers looking to step up will also be considered. You must be able to demonstrate the below:

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent

* Previous experience in Children’s Residential Services

* Strong leadership and management experience and skillset

* Vibrant, passionate and positive attitude

* Full understanding of relevant legislation, compliance and safeguarding procedures

* Strong organisational and administrational skills

* Ability to inspire and engage others and lead by example

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

* Exacting standards and fastidious approach
