Salary: £28,400 - £34,500 ( band 5) - depending on experience
Hours: Full time or part time hours available
Contract type: Permanent
About the role:
An exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to work within the emergency department of our highly reputable hospital based in North Bristol. The role gives nurses the opportunity to tap into the expertise of specialist nurses and doctors as they handle patient assessment, investigation and management of patients with an emergency illness. The hospital is modern, vibrant and boasts outstanding facilities alongside state-of-the-art technologies. No two days are the same in the life of a Registered Nurse in this role and this is an exciting time to join a team providing specialised trauma care and rehabilitation to patients with multiple serious injuries.  The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Registered Nurses to join them.  

You will be working as a Registered Nurse within the emergency department and responsible for the following duties;

Delivery high standards of evidence based nursing care without direct supervision
Contributing towards the health promotion for all patients by providing education, support and advice
Ensuring referrals to the appropriate professionals as required
In the absence of senior staff, taking responsibility for the supervision of other qualified staff, students and healthcare support workers
Where relevant, be responsible and assist in the co-ordination of discharge planning
Ensuring the provision of sage and therapeutic environment for all patients, relatives, visitors and colleagues
Who we're looking for

Be NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
At least 1 years UK experience acute nursing experience
Teaching and assessing qualification (998 or equivalent) or willing to undertake after 2 years post registration
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Strong communication skills
