Open Fibre Networks (OFNL), part of the BUUK Group, are looking for aTraineeFibre FieldEngineerwho would like to help us reach our mission of making lasting connections with our customers to improve their lives. You will need to be based in the Lincoln/Boston area.
We call our Trainees Fibre Field Technicians and through support and training our Technicans learn all the knowledge and skills to become one of our Fibre Field Engineers. We provide technical and soft skills training to ensure you feel fully confident in your abilities to move into an Engineer role.
As a Fibre Field Technician your key responsibilities are
Maintenance of OFNLs network equipment
Site audits against network design standards and specifications
Act as an OFNL representative and provide escort for third party access
Provide remote hands for NOC engineering teams
Offer support to Field Engineers
Create and maintain OFNL documentation
You may be required to take part in an on-call rota
About you
Full UK Driving Licence
Self-motivated and an eagerness to learn
Excellent customer service skills
High attention to detail
Looking to progress start a Fibre career
