Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an Machine Shop Manager to carry out an exciting contract for a Manufacturing company based in Nuneaton. This is a position suited to candidates with a solid background within Machining, ideally in the Aerospace Industry. This role will be based in Nuneaton initially and then you will relocate to their India facility for 12 months.

Role responsibilities –

* For the role of Machine Shop Manager, you will be working closely with the team in Nuneaton and learning their processes and procedures before taking this over to their facility in India for the role of Machine Shop Manager.

* You will be working closely with the Machinists on site for the role of Machine Shop Manager.

* Liaising with the team in Nuneaton when you are in India and working well as a team.

* Travel is an essential part of this role as you will be spending time over in India, so a passport and driving licence is essential for this role.

Role requirements –

* You will have a heavy background within Machining and ideally have worked with industries such as Aerospace and Oil & Gas for the role of Machine Shop Manager.

* You will have a good understand of processes and procedures within a manufacturing environment as well as continuous improvement experience.

* You will be open to travel, and happy to work within the UK and within India for the Machine Shop Manager role.

* You will hold a passport for this position as travel will be expected.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work well as a team.
