Salary: £61,848 - £67,706 per annum
Located: Lingfield, Surrey
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37.5 - 40 hours per week / Term time only or all year round (By negotiation)
Job Purpose
As a Senior Educational Psychologist, you will be leading a team of educational psychologists as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working with children and young adults with learning difficulties in an educational and residential environment.
Essential Requirements
BPS Recognised professional training in Educational or Clinical Psychology
HCPC Registered
Experience of working within a school, college, and residential settings
Experience of delivering trainingProfessional Responsibilities
Utilise systemic ideas, consultation models, and psychological concepts related to attachment, learning, and behaviour.
Apply a person-centred model to provide support to children and young adults with autism, epilepsy, and other conditions.
Provide therapeutic input as needed to support the well-being and development of the individuals in care.
Work collaboratively with staff to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the educational and therapeutic support provided to the individuals in the program.
Stay updated on best practices and research in educational psychology to continuously improve services.
Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for the individuals.
