M & E Clerk of Works in Edinburgh - CV-Library

Peace Recruitment are working with a local authority based near Edinburgh to source an experienced M&E Clerk of Works. You'll work on a wide range of projects, including residential, education and commercial. This will be a mix of capital works and new build.

Responsibilities include:

* Inspect all works in progress

* Work as part of a Clerk of Works team reporting to the Senior CoW

* Prepare and submit site visit reports

* Maintain a diary of the progress of works, delays, unsatisfactory workmanship or materials, visitors to the site and weather, on a weekly basis.

* Record the details of any occurrence or situation thought likely to cause delay

* Record and maintain an observation tracker of non-compliant item.

* Liaise with contractors to ensure contracts are running on time.

This role is likely to be ongoing as my client has a wide range of contracts currently and coming up. You will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance. Please note that this role is in scope of IR35
