Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Leeds. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the costs and financial aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cost reports for M&E projects.
Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project profitability.
Manage contract negotiations, variations, and final accounts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure effective cost control and budget management.
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems and components.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using industry-standard software for cost estimating and project management.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
