Role Overview:

As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services to support our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of market trends to contribute to our overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimise cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide strategic procurement guidance.
Analyse market trends and maintain awareness of industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and address any issues to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
Monitor inventory levels and work towards optimising stock levels while minimising carrying costs.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supply chain management.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software. Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
