VoIP Engineer - Asterisk based in Manchester - CV-Library

My client is a multi-business organisation looking for an office based skilled VoIP Engineer with specifc experience in and ? We're seeking a talented individual to join a dynamic team. As a VoIP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our VoIP infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in and to ensure seamless communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, configuring, and troubleshooting VoIP systems based on
Responsible for configuration and deployment of Telephony, SIP, PBX, Phone Systems remotely.
Direct point of contact for technical escalations.
Implementing and optimizing -based VoIP solutions - Redhat / CentOS / Ubuntu
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate VoIP systems with existing network infrastructure
Providing technical expertise and support for VoIP-related issues
Contributing to the development of innovative VoIP solutions and servicesRequirements:

Being able to troubleshoot and understand SIP messaging/tracing via Wireshark is a must;
Experience with VoIP Protocols: Strong familiarity with VoIP protocols, including SIP, RTP, and WebRTC, and the ability to troubleshoot and work with these technologies.
Considerable experience in a hands-on role supporting and/or installing IP telephony systems;
Be an excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills;

This role is office based commutable between Salford and Manchester City Centre. Nearest train is Salford Crescent !
