Job Description

A unique permanent opportunity for an experienced and talented Regional Training & Skills Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the training department within a region. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting staff training and development, implementing training policies and strategies, and coordinating social value targets. You will collaborate closely with the wider HR team to design career pathways, facilitate succession planning, and contribute to the overall organisational goals.

This role offers an excellent benefits package which includes a Company Car/Car Allowance, Private Medical, Onsite Parking, 26 days hols increasing with length of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieving Results:

Ensure employees meet their training targets.
Lead the creation and delivery of people development strategies aligned with organisational vision and values.
Collaborate with HR to establish career pathways and succession plans.
Monitor CSCS card holding, training allocation, and grant claims.
Track employee survey and results.
Ensure adherence to Social Value commitments.Managing the Process:

Needs Analysis and Planning:

Identify training needs within the region.
Assist in planning and delivering training programs.
Fulfill Social Value commitments for projects.
Design and Delivery of Training:

Conduct training sessions and assess trainees' progress.
Assist in designing and delivering training events.
Stay updated on training methodologies and industry best practices.
Organise regional induction training and cultural programs.
Represent the organisation at various events and meetings.
Supervision of Training Initiatives:

Supervise and coordinate training initiatives.
Arrange site visits, research projects, and workshops.
Liaison:

Maintain strong relationships with internal training team members.
Engage with external training bodies and partners.
Monitor apprentice's progress and provide necessary support.Administration:

Ensure accurate and timely updating of training systems and documents.
