Job Description

Receptionist / Administrator

Bracknell, Berkshire

Full time (The business is open from 08.00-17.30 Monday to Friday and 09.00-12.00 on a Saturday. You will be required to work one in four Saturday’s mornings)

Salary: £24000 - £28000pa

The role:

As Receptionist, you must be an organised, friendly, proactive and confident managing the front desk of this busy reception. The role will involve frequent contact with customers, insurance companies and other internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and assisting with general administration.

Key responsibilities

* Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office

* Direct visitors to the appropriate person(s) and department

* Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

* Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable

* Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

* Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

* Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)

* Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock

* Update calendars and schedule meetings

* Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning

Essential skills / experience

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

* Professional attitude and appearance

* Solid written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

* Excellent organisational skills

* Multitasking and time-management, with the ability to prioritise tasks

* Customer service experience
