Position Overview: As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional project management abilities, and a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage multiple mechanical engineering projects concurrently, ranging from small-scale installations to large-scale developments.

* Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.

* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets.

* Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

* Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

* Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, resolving any technical issues or challenges that arise during project execution.

* Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain standards of excellence and identify areas for improvement.

* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a similar role within the mechanical engineering or construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, systems, and equipment.

* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.

* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve their goals.

* Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and quality standards relevant to mechanical engineering projects.

* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
