Group Financial Accountant in Blackburn - Rebus Recruitment

We are currently with a well-established business based in the Blackburn area who are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join the team in this newly created position. The company is a major national player within its field and is continuing to grow both organically and through acquisition, this is a great business to join and have extensive technical exposure and commercial influence.
The business is privately owned with an entrepreneurial feel so you need to be a consummate professional who can work with internal and external parties diligently. You will be a critical part of the next few years growth and will provide a more consolidated monthly reporting pack to support the decision making and compliance in the Group.
Duties as Group Financial Accountant will include: -
Responsible for the monthly consolidated Group reporting pack, providing technical compliance at the top level.

Maintain strong financial controls and processes throughout the reporting pack across all the business' in the Group.

Lead the yearly Group audit and liaise with external partners.

Build rapport across the business to provide tighter accountability and robust controls.

Assist with further acquisitions and company integrations.

We are looking for a candidate who is confident in the monthly processes and controls required for a multi-site operation and Group reporting environment, ideally with consolidation experience.
You may be fully ACA/ACCA qualified, preferably with an understanding of a Group reporting structure and a high level of technical compliance experience, however we would also consider technically strong candidates who have a driven and ambitious approach.
