Our client is a dynamic boutique law firm specialising in all aspects of commercial and residential property. Their small, close knit team moved from Central London to modern, spacious offices in East London, equipped with a kitchen, shower facilities and air conditioning.
The Role and Responsibilities of the Solicitor
You should be a commercial and residential property solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, the majority of it being commercial property. You should have the requisite experience to work on a wide range of property matters, including:-
Landlord and Tenant work (including drafting and negotiating commercial leases)
Commercial sales and purchases
Development work
Secured lending
Residential sales/purchases and management
The role of solicitor is viewed as fundamental to the development of the firm and, for the right candidate who satisfies their requirements, you can expect to become involved in supervising junior members of the team, client development and other suitable management functions with a Partnership position being a very realistic prospect.
The Ideal Solicitor
Previous property law (primarily commercial) experience (including Landlord and Tenant work) with strong technical ability
Commitment to delivering high quality legal advice and service to clients - Disciplined and organised
Hard working and diligent
Ability to communicate effectively
Motivated, can-do attitude
Team player but also able to manage own case-load without supervision
Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure
Ambitious and keen to get to the next level
