You will be joining a growing company & Estimating team to keep up with the enquiries coming in. If you are wanting to be part of creating something exceptional then you are in the right place. As we embark on exciting new ventures, we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our elite team and contribute to our continued success carrying out our extensions & home renovations.
Position: Senior Estimator
The role is mainly office based; however, you will be required to carry out site visits at the estimate stage and during construction.
You will be responsible for and expected to undertake the following duties in accordance with our values, policies, and procedures:
Creating detailed estimates from drawings using.
Completing tenders issued by external Architects.
Getting prices for special orders that plug into your estimate.
Site visits pre-estimate.
Making use of relevant computer software such as Excel, Word, and Autodesk DWG TrueView and any future estimating packages.
Update the master rates sheet with real time rates.
What we are looking for
Proven experience as an Estimator, and extensive knowledge of residential construction.
About you
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships with clients, staff and Directors.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Exceptional time management skills.
Resilience, determination, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Good commercial awareness.
Good numeracy and data analysis skills.
Have a practical, logical, and methodical approach to work.
Attention to detail.
Being open and willing to change.
You have a full driving licence.
