Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Location: Malvern

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 D.O.E.

Hours: Monday-Friday Office hours

Our client are looking for a Sales Executive to join their growing team, based at their site in Malvern.

As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, generating quotes and maintaining customer satisfaction. Listen and offer advice to customers on product options building and developing professional relationships. Work closely with our clients design department to ensure all customer specifications are clearly met for product samples. Review market trends and revenue analysis as advised by the Sales Manager.

As part of the Sales Team, you'll be expected help the team meet and surpass business targets and contribute to the company's sustainable growth.

Main Duties

Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies.
Generate Sales leads and introduce these leads to the company products.
Generate quotes and close sales with customers.
Gathering market and customer information.
Achieve sales and KPI targets in line with business expectations.
Responding to customer queries and resolving their inquiries in a timely fashion.
Advising design on product improvements to include in forthcoming product developments.
Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations.
Maintain and update customers on progress of their project and answer any concerns or questions.
Maintain awareness of new product development, new initiatives and promotional activity.
Provide cover for Sales Team.

Job Specific Skills

Excellent verbal communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
Experience of working with a CRM system/computer is desirable.
Experience with Sage 200 (Software) is desirable but not a necessity.
Willingness to continually develop sales skills, strategies, and techniques.
Develop New Business accounts and Up/Cross Selling Skills.
The ability to work on your own initiative.
Customer service and rapport building skills.
Flexibility and open-mindedness.
