Assembly Operative
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a manufacturing company based in Alton. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 17:00
Paying £12.20 per hour
Assembly Operative Responsibilities:
* You will be involved in all aspects of the production right up to the finished product.
* Use of electrical test equipment, mechanical assembly, light press work, bearing fitting, soldering and small hand tools
* Drilling and pining of shafts
* Polishing/dressing
* Motor testing and use of hand held test equipment
* Inspection through all stages of production
* Handling and fitting of electronic components and printed circuit board assemblies
* Adherence to relevant health & safety procedures
Assembly Operative Requirements:
* The ability to understand and read assembly drawings
* Experience using hand held test equipment
* Previous soldering experience
* Mechanical Design experience
* Experience of working within an ISO 9001 and AS9100 environment
