Manufacturing Technician

Location: Worcester

Our client is a leading developer of transformative hip arthroplasty solutions, with dedication to the highest quality manufacturing and industry leading clinical performance. With over two decades of dedicated research and development, our client primarily focuses on hip arthroplasty.

Position Overview:

The role of a Manufacturing Technician within our client's business is a vital component of the company. Within this position, you will be utilising the two decades of research and development and making the companies' concepts a reality. Working within a team of 3 other Manufacturing Technicians, you will be practising manufacturing techniques inline with regulations and quality requirements.

Position Requirements:

Ensure full compliance of your work with Quality Management system.
Carry out production operations within the manufacturing cell.
Operate, monitor, and control CNC and manual processes (3-axis CNC machines)
Complete critical records on the product and process - including inspection, sampling, testing, set up, housekeeping and maintenance.
Complete document reviews (batch records, logbook, SOP's) in a timely manner, which requires clarity, and accuracy.
Assist with Goods in and goods out.
Inspect and maintain the production equipment and control systems.
Maintain company health, safety, and environmental standards.
Assist in creation of SOP's, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and training packages.
Assist in validation projects and in the improvement activities.
Ensure good manufacturing practices are maintained via good documentation.
Prepare, clean, inspect, and maintain the equipment and facilities.
Participate in all required company safety, training and quality audits as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Dependant on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.
