CAD Technician (Electrical & Mechanical)

Salary £30-40k DOE

Location - Surrey or Newcastle

We are seeking a talented CAD Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models using industry-leading software like AutoCAD and Inventor.

What you'll do:

Develop and maintain electrical and mechanical drawings for diverse projects, including those for Government/MOD and maritime applications.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings.
Ensure drawings meet all industry standards and client specifications.
Revise existing drawings as needed.
Maintain a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.What you'll have:

Proven experience as a CAD Technician with proficiency in both electrical and mechanical design.
Expertise in AutoCAD and Inventor software.
Excellent understanding of drafting principles and conventions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bonus points for:

Experience working on Government/MOD or maritime projects.
