Naval Architect - Outside IR35 (SC Cleared)
Our client, a leading company in the Defence sector, is seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect for a contract position. As a Naval Architect, you will play a crucial role in supporting the generation and delivery of technical outputs within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and validation of whole boat concept sizing tool using Excel
Verification and validation of FDG toolsets
Creation and improvement of 3D spatial models using Rhino3D
Designing General Arrangement using Rhino3D/AutoCAD
Generation and development of stability models using Paramarine
Conducting side studies to investigate whole boat impact and explore design characteristics
Producing evidence and conducting analysis on design elements such as PH Sizing, Cladding Impact, Manning, Margins, Infrastructure, and Armament
Preparation of Consolidated Design Reports

Job Requirements:

Significant experience as a Naval Architect
Proficiency in Excel, Rhino3D, and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of stability modeling using Paramarine
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical disciplines and report progress to team leader
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
