The Job you will do:
As a Desktop Motor Engineer, you will be responsible for auditing performance and quality engineer reports and authorities.
To accurately assess, value and negotiate accident-damaged vehicles.
To check estimates from repairers to ensure correct repair methods are followed.
To highlight any suspicious or fraudulent claims activity.
Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.
To ensure you uphold the Core Values of the business.
Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.
About you:
You will probably have a background in one or more of the following environments - accident repair centre, body shop or coachworks.
You may have previously been a vehicle assessor.
You will either be a member of or working towards accreditation with either IMI/ATA/VDA.
Competence in the use of the Audatex estimating system.
Knowledge of the details and methods of motor vehicle accident repair.
Good attention to detail.
Good organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability and willingness to learn and develop.
